The mattress you have purchased has undergone rigorous manufacturing quality controls. Therefore, we can guarantee it provided that the following usage guidelines are observed.
General
- The mattress is designed to be used as a sleeping surface. Actions such as jumping, walking or dancing on it may deform its internal components.
- The protective plastic cover is intended solely for transportation. Keep it out of reach of children, as they could become trapped inside. Once removed, dispose of it in the nearest yellow recycling container.
- To maintain the comfort and durability of your mattress over the years, we recommend that during the first year and thereafter every 3 months, you rotate the mattress from head to foot and flip it from top to bottom.
*Daily use may cause firmness to vary by +/- 10%.
Springs
- Do not bend or force the mattress to fit it through doors or elevators. Some of our models are equipped with a perimeter stabilizing rod which could become deformed and affect both performance and appearance.
- The use of a protective cover is recommended for improved hygiene and mattress maintenance. Make sure you use the correct size, as excessive tension on the corners may cause permanent deformation. Dry cleaning is recommended.
- Ensure that you use a uniform base to support the mattress. In our catalogue you will find a wide range of bases, storage beds and slatted frames designed specifically for your mattress to provide a unique sleeping experience.
Warranty
Essenzia Dormire carries out the most rigorous and thorough quality control on all materials involved in the manufacturing process and grants a two-year warranty on its mattresses from the date of delivery against any manufacturing defect, whether in construction, material quality, or breakage or deformation of the core.
During the warranty period, any defect attributable to a manufacturing fault that affects the product’s properties will be repaired free of charge. After the warranty period has expired, a minimum fee of €35 (indirect taxes not included) will apply for visits outside the warranty period and for visits not justified within the warranty period, covering the technician’s travel costs. The cost of any repairs will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Essenzia Dormire reserves the right to examine the mattress prior to any repair in order to determine the nature or origin of the defect and decide whether or not it is covered under the warranty.
Essenzia Dormire shall not be liable for damages or losses for the period during which the mattress is out of service.
EXCLUSIONS: In accordance with Law 23/2003 on Sales Guarantees. This warranty EXCLUDES possible deformation of less than 10% of the total height of the mattress, as well as body impressions that may appear after sleeping for several hours due to the use of natural materials (cotton, wool, silk, etc.). This settling is completely natural and purely aesthetic, as it does not affect the core, which provides the main support. Rotating the upper/lower sides and head/foot areas is recommended to even out this settling. The following are also excluded from this warranty: stained mattresses, deformations or breakage caused by misuse, liquid spills, irregular or unsuitable support bases (we recommend using a slatted frame, lift-up storage base or upholstered base from Essenzia Dormire), as well as any abnormal moisture conditions (mold, mites) or any cause beyond our control. Threads that may appear along the seams of our mattresses are a result of the stitching system used. These threads do not affect proper use. New products may emit a slight odor during the first few days, which is not harmful.
The fabric, zipper and thread are excluded from this warranty, as their condition depends on proper use, unless they were already defective upon delivery, in which case a complaint must be reported within 48 hours. TOLERANCES: Lengths, widths and thicknesses correspond to nominal values used by manufacturers and retailers, with an accepted width tolerance of (+/- 10 mm, 30 mm). This warranty certificate is not valid unless the attached card is fully completed and stamped by the selling establishment, indicating the date of purchase. It must always be accompanied by the invoice or purchase receipt.
